My apologies to Josh... He finished a beautiful bathroom job for me in August 2013 and I'm just getting the review posted in Dec.! At any rate my experience with Josh and his company, Top Shelf was 5 star all the way. Every construction job has problems and I'm not going to spend time talking about the whole project.... what I will say is Josh is stellar; on communicating, on keeping things moving ahead, on doing a little extra to meet a tight deadline... I really can't give any constructive criticism, the whole project came out better than we had hoped for, on time AND on budget! Top shelf truly lives up to it name! Thanks Josh!

After going through two different contractors we finally struck gold in Josh Waite and Top Shelf Construction. Josh provided an incredible experience for my wife and I in our home in Bellevue. You name it, he's helped us with it. The highlight of our experience with Josh is the work he did on our kitchen, laundry room and bath room. We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of work and attention to detail. On top of the great end product, Josh is a class act. He shows up on time and simply gets the job done. I hired Josh and Top Shelf Construction to build a covered outdoor kitchen and patio for me and I am more than happy with his workmanship and value received. There's a lot of worry and stress involved in buying a house for the first time, and luckily for me, this all falls on the shoulders of my bff while I kick back and watch her pour her hard earned money into an adult investment.
With all of the things that have been difficult/frustrating in bringing my friends' house up to par, one element that went smoothly and with total satisfaction to boot was the completion of our new deck by Top Shelf Construction. Josh was out rain or shine, he worked quickly, efficiently, and had the deck completed and looking gorgeous in only a few days. To be honest, I've never seen this kind of a project performed, and I was pretty impressed with the speed in which he completed the deck. The price was right (lower than any other quote my friend received) and we have since received dozens of compliments on the look of the new deck.
We both certainly recommend you seek out Josh's services if you're looking for any deck work in the near future, and we will be keeping Top Shelf on the top of our own list for any future endeavors.

We have had the pleasure of having Josh Waite work on our house remodels two different times. Each time we have found him to be dependable and respectful in all aspects of the job. We have a busy household with two small boys and Josh always worked within our schedule. He arrived on time, did what he said he was going to do, and was flexible if things needed to change. At the end of the project we felt like Josh was a part of the family and were sorry to see him go.
Along with being pleasant and considerate, Josh is also a skilled craftsman. We enlarged windows in the front of our home, which required removal and relaying of brick. We extensively retiled bathrooms and moved walls. We added on to our family room. We changed doors and moldings. In all these projects, Josh’s workmanship was outstanding. We would definitely recommend Josh to anyone wanting to have work done on his or her home.

We hired Josh to completely remodel our main bathroom. He took it down to the drywall and replaced everything. We couldn't have asked for a better finished product. Our shower tile, new insulated window, and bath tub look perfect. Our new tiled floor is crisp and well constructed. Josh went above and beyond. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, friendly, and experienced contractor.

We hired Josh to install the trim around all of our windows. He did an excellent job. He was punctual and stayed on the job until he finished. He was also very easy to communicate and work with. We are very pleased with the job he did. I would not hesitate to use him or to recommend him to everyone I know. If we have any remodel jobs in the future, Josh will be the one we call!!
